Organist Workshop: Intermediate and Advanced Level

CTSFW offers two levels of organist workshops, one for beginning students (June 2–6) and one for intermediate and advanced students (June 9–13). Register now for the workshop that works best for you.

Each of our organist workshops begins with registration on Sunday evening (with late registration available Monday morning). The first session begins Monday at 8:15 a.m., and the last session concludes on Friday at noon.

Instruction is customized to the ability level of each student. Daily classes in playing technique and theology are part of the curriculum, as is practice time. Lodging is available in our campus guest dorms. Dorm housing is limited, so early registration is strongly recommended. Meals are in Katherine Luther Dining Hall. Participants are encouraged to attend daily chapel services in Kramer Chapel, located on campus.

The registration deadline is May 25, 2025. Registration is now open.

Note on Minors: The organist workshops are designed for organists aged 16 and older. Developing musicians under 16 are encouraged to explore CTSFW’s Christ Academy High School (CAHS) program. At this time, CAHS for summer 2025 is full, but information about the event (for possible future attendance) can be found at ctsfw.edu/cahs.

For those who are uncertain about which workshop to attend, you can use our organist workshop self-evaluation tool below to help you decide the workshop that will best meet your needs.

This page is for those wanting to register for the Organist Workshop: Intermediate and Advanced Levels. If you need a workshop that focuses on the skills more aligned with those who are just learning organ, please visit our Organist Workshop: Begining Level by using the link(s) below.
