Hymn Festival



The 2026 Good Shepherd Institute (GSI) Conference includes a hymn festival Monday, November 9, at 7:30 p.m. ET in Kramer Chapel on the campus of Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne.

The hymn festival, "Celebrating the Hymns of Paul Gerhardt (on the 350th anniversary of his death) and Others," will feature the Seminary Kantorei under the direction of Kantor Kevin Hildebrand. Jacob Weber will serve as the organist. The festival will be livestreamed.

The festival, which is free and open to the public, will conclude the series of special music events of the GSI Conference. For more details about the conference, including registration information, visit ctsfw.edu/gsi. You do not need to register for the conference to attend the hymn festival.

The CTSFW Schola Cantorum and soloists, under the direction of Kantor Kevin Hildebrand, will sing at Choral Vespers in Kramer Chapel on Sunday, November 8, at 7:30 p.m. ET.
