All Saints' Choral Vespers

The Schola Cantorum, along with a chamber orchestra and soloists, will participate in a special All Saints’ Choral Vespers service in Kramer Chapel Sunday, November 10, at 7:30 p.m. EST. The group, under the direction of Kantor Kevin Hildebrand and accompanied on organ by Kantor Matthew Machemer, will present Bach Cantata 9, “Es ist das Heil uns kommen her” (“Salvation Unto Us Has Come”) and Heinrich Schütz’s “Sing to the Lord a New Song.”

The event, which is free and open to the public, will take place on the first evening of the 2024 Good Shepherd Institute (GSI) Conference. For more details about the conference, including registration information, visit ctsfw.edu/gsi. Please note that you do not need to register for the conference to attend the service.

“Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne (CTSFW), is pleased to announce the release of a new recording, “Alleluia! Sing to Jesus: Hymns at Concordia Theological Seminary.” The recording, available in audio streaming and CD format, features hymns from Lutheran Service Book recorded live at Choral Vespers and hymn festivals at CTSFW.
